Bradford Park Avenue will have different opponents in the West Riding County Cup semi-final next month.

They will now entertain Ossett Albion on Monday, March 3, who have been reinstated at the expense of Halifax Town.

It follows a decision by the County FA to disqualify the Shaymen following a breach of rules in their 4-1 quarter-final win at home to Albion.

Halifax named five loan players as substitutes, three of whom - Tom Sharpe, Anthony Griffith and City defender Simon Ainge - came on.

Cup rules dictate that loan players cannot feature but Halifax claim injuries and suspensions left them with little alternative.

It is the second time in consecutive years that Town have been dismissed from the competition after fielding an ineligible player last year.

They were also fined £1,500 by the WRCFA.
