GUISELEY striker Kayode Odejayi says his side will be a force to be reckoned with despite an indifferent start to the season.

The Lions are second-from-bottom in Vanarama National League North following two defeats and two draws in their opening four games. This slow start to the term included an encouraging 1-1 draw at Stockport County on Tuesday night.

Now Marcus Bignot and Russ O'Neill's men travel to the West Midlands tomorrow to face second-placed Leamington, who themselves have two wins and two draws from their first four games.

Odejayi has been encouraged by his side's performances and expects things to settle down at the club after a few months of upheaval following their relegation.

He said: "Although we didn't win in the early games, there was plenty of positives to take from those games

"We go into Leamington full of confidence with the way we have gone about our business. Hopefully a win will be around the corner soon.

"We are a work in progress. There has been a lot of upheaval and an influx of new players.

"We are working hard and hopefully when it clicks we will be a force to be reckoned with."
