EAST Bierley remain bottom of the All Rounder Bradford Premier League Premier Division, but they did their survival chances no harm with an extraordinary 10-wicket win at Bradford & Bingley.

Ibrar Younis ran amok as he took 7-10 to dismiss the hosts for just 20. Rizwan Ali chipped in with 2-10, while a late run out just about summed up the chaos.

Nobody scored more than four for Bradford & Bingley and East Bierley unsurprisingly had little trouble in the reply, chasing their target down in less than five overs.

Elsewhere, there are only two points between Pudsey St Lawrence and New Farnley at the summit after both recorded comfortable weekend victories.

The former's bowlers ensured they had an easy ride at home to Farsley. The visitors were skittled for just 77, after Richie Lamb recorded figures of 3-35.

There were also two wickets apiece for Chris Marsden, Charles Parker and Joshua Dracup, as Farsley's captain Ryan Cooper fought a lone hand in making 25.

Pudsey opener Adam Waite made 30 not out in his side's chase, as they won by seven wickets.

New Farnley scored 253-7 batting first at home to Hanging Heaton but they were struggling on 129-5 when captain Lee Goddard was dismissed for 35.

However, Ajmal Shahzad (74) and Alex Lilley (47no) put on a rapid 101 together to set their visitors a challenging total.

Hanging Heaton began well, reaching 74 without loss, but Shahzad capped a fine all-round display by taking figures of 4-34, as the away side were eventually dismissed for 170.

Opening bowlers Matthew Waite (3-19) and Waqas Ahmed (3-37) starred as high-flying Methley kept up their title challenge with a comfortable six-wicket win at home to Townville.

The visitors were bundled out for 131 before Jordan Laban hit 44 in a successful chase.

Lowly Scholes' poor season continued as they were thrashed at home to Cleckheaton. Joshua Thurwell recorded figures of 5-36 for the visitors as they dismissed their opponents for just 104.

Andrew Deegan hit 35 not out in the reply as Cleckheaton romped home by eight wickets to remain in seventh.

Finally, Josh Wheatley (41) and Mark Gill (40) batted well for Lightcliffe but Scott Richardson took 3-55 to restrict them to 205-6.

In reply, Woodlands were indebted to a wonderful unbeaten 106 by opener Sam Frankland, as they won by six wickets with an over to spare.
