YORKSHIRE have set Lancashire a 323 victory target to win the Specsavers County Championship Roses clash at Emirates Old Trafford.
The white rose advanced from 154-4 at lunch to 239 all out in their second innings, meaning a slightly earlier tea on day two.
Jonny Bairstow’s 82 off 67 was the stand-out innings for the Tykes, with captain Steve Patterson unbeaten on 45.
Red Rose wicket-keeper Dane Vilas finished with six victims in the innings - a stumping and five catches.
Graham Onions grabbed three wickets, while Tom Bailey, Jordan Clark and Matthew Parkinson all took two apiece.
