BRADFORD Bulls have signed half-back Jordan Lilley on loan until the end of the 2019 season.

The 21-year-old Leeds Rhinos player featured 12 times for the Bulls last season in a successful loan spell, and has also been loaned by the Headingley club to Hunslet, Featherstone Rovers and Leigh Centurions over the past four seasons.

Lilley will be available for selection for Sunday's top-of-the-table Betfred League One game against York City Knights at Odsal.

Delighted Bulls coach John Kear is delighted to have captured Lilley, who can also play hooker, saying: "This signing is a further statement of intent from the Bulls in adding quality players to an already strong squad.

"I look forward to working with Jordan and harnessing his ability, skills, and enthusiasm for the good of the team."

Bulls chairman Andrew Chalmers added: "Jordan is an extremely talented player and he really gelled with the team last year.

"He's going to play a crucial role in the side for the rest of the year as we enter the race to achieve promotion."

Bramley-born Lilley started off his rugby league at Stanningley and made his Rhinos debut in 2015 against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Belle Vue, just missing out on a Grand Final appearance at the end of the campaign.

Lilley became a Leeds regular the following season when Danny McGuire was injured, having gained experience on loan with Hunslet as a dual registered player the previous year.

He moved to Odsal in February 2017, and was loaned out earlier this season to Leigh Centurions for a month.

In all, he has made 44 appearances for the Rhinos over four years, scoring four tries and kicking 63 goals.
