BULLS teenager Reiss Butterworth is set to move to Castleford Tigers on loan until the rest of the season, the Telegraph & Argus understands.

The 19-year-old Odsal academy product is due to link up with the Super League club tomorrow.

Castleford second-row forward James Green is set to head in the opposite direction, joining the Bulls on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Bulls and Cas will then review the situation, with Butterworth still under contract at Odsal.

Hooker Butterworth made his debut last year in the Championship, signing a new contract at the end of the season, but has found opportunities limited for John Kear’s side.

He has recently returned from a month’s loan spell at Batley and scored a try for the reserves against Halifax last week – where he is understood to have been watched by the Tigers.
