LEEDS United will start the new season at home to relegated Stoke City.

United will face the former Premier League side, now managed by Gary Rowett, on Sunday, August 5 in front of the Sky TV cameras when new Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will make his bow at Elland Road.

The Whites' first trip on the road is away to Frank Lampard's Derby a week later before Leeds host Rotherham in their first Yorkshire derby of the campaign.

United's festive fixtures sees them host newly-promoted Blackburn on Boxing Day before welcoming Yorkshire neighbours Hull three days later.

Leeds visit Nottingham Forest on New Year's Day and end their Championship campaign at Ipswich Town on Sunday, May 5.
