UWE Rosler has been appointed new boss at Swedish club Malmo.
The former Leeds chief returns to management after being sacked by League One Fleetwood midway through last season.
The German had been among the early bookies favourites for the vacant head coach role at the Bantams.
But it is understood he was never a serious contender.
