SHERIFF Hutton Bridge's Matthew Fisher and Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who plays for Cleckheaton, have been selected in a 13-man England Lions squad.

The Yorkshire duo who will represent England in the Tri-Series against India A and West Indies A that will be played in Derby, Leicester, Northampton and at the Kia Oval from June 22 to July 2.

As a result, the pair are set to miss the next two Specsavers County Championship matches against Hampshire and Surrey.

That takes the number of the club’s players on international duty to seven with Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow also reporting for England duty ahead of their five-match ODI series against Australia starting on June 13.

Mark Ramprakash will be head coach, and the Nottinghamshire all-rounder Steven Mullaney has been appointed captain.
