BEN Heritage hit an unbeaten century to put Horsforth on the way to victory over Rawdon.

Heritage put on 90 with Oliver Hardaker (47) as Horsforth set a target of 253-6.

Rawdon made a solid start thanks to Henry Scanlan (56) but Sajad Ali (3-48) and Ryan Sharrocks (4-50) kept making inroads and even with a spirited ninth-wicket stand of 81 between Harry Nicholson (54) and James Harding, who hit five fours and three sixes in making 48, couldn’t prevent the visitors losing by 24 runs.

Nicky Bulcock (52) and Jason Wright (52) were the main contributors to Burley’s 201 and Danny Gill (4-44) and Josh Challenger (4-43) dismissed Ilkley for 178 to keep their side on the tail of the early season leaders.

Top spot remains in the hands of Otley after they made short work of beating Guiseley who drop to the bottom of the heap.

James Davies took 4-14 as Guiseley were dismissed for 100, 36 of which came from number eight batsman Damon Reeve.

Reeve also picked up the three Otley wickets to fall but 54no in 28 balls from David Hester clinched the win in 12.5 overs.

James Rosewarne (62) and Adam Slater (45) gave Pool a good platform but then Istikhar Hussain picked up 6-41 and Follifoot passed the home side’s 177 with seven wickets in hand.

In the battle of the Second Division’s top two, Mahir Ali and Mick Scott each picked up three cheap wickets as Saltaire were shot out for 92. Tong Park Esholt didn’t find batting much easier but 29 from Phil Hiley and a lusty final six from Muhammad Z Khan won the match by three wickets.

Addingham moved back into second spot after they made short work of beating Steeton, Alex Hentschke (4-30) and Robert Ellis (3-19) dismissing the visitors for 86. Ben Brearley (38no) led the winning run chase.

Mark McEneaney produced a stunning 9.5-over spell of 8-22 as Leeds Modernians were skittled out for 61, a total Hall Park passed in 18.3 overs.

Runs were also hard to come by at Ben Rhydding where the home side were bowled out for 96, Ed Broadley taking 6-55 and Sajjad Ijaz 3-12.

Henry Barrow (5-45) and Rob Withers (3-30) looked as though they might be able to defend that total but 30 from Chris Wheeler and an unbeaten 18 from James Gifford helped Olicanian clinch a one-wicket win.

Calverley's Sam Gascoyne scored 40no but found little support and Kirkstall comfortably eased past the 100 target.

Imran Zaman (64no) and Simon Watson (31no) steered Green Lane to a victory at Thackley that keeps them top of Division Three.

Paul Naylor (51) and Mohammed Shoaib (41) had starred in the home side’s 173 but with Old Leodiensians notching their first victory at Alwoodley, Thackley drop into the bottom two.

Andy Wear (48) and Tom Cummins (60) helped Harden to 233-9 and with Matthew Hogg taking 7-66, Menston fell 62 runs short despite the efforts of Hashim Sajjad (80).

Sam Lawrence (5-34) helped restrict Skipton 152, a total Bolton Villas passed with four wickets and 23.2 overs in hand.
