RAQEEB Younis hit his second successive century as Conference leaders Jer Lane continued their impressive start to their Bradford Premier League life.

Younis followed up his 105 against Windhill & Daisy Hill with a stunning 150 as his side compiled the highest score of the season in their division. They made 325-7 on their way to a crushing 229-run win over Crossbank Methodists.

The in-form Younis struck 11 sixes and 12 fours as well as sharing in a second-wicket partnership of 107 with opener Chris Ramsden (56). Jonny Lister (45no) added to the suffering of the Crossbank bowlers.

Matthew Johnson (3-20) and Amjid Khan (3-30) were the key wicket takers as Crossbank perished for 96 in reply.

The victory keeps Jer Lane one point ahead of Oulton who had a comfortable 156-run win over Rodley.

Their star performer was all-rounder Joseph Sykes. After top-scoring with 75 in his side's 259-9, which saw him share a sixth-wicket alliance of 148 with Paul Gough (66), he took 6-33 as Rodley were all out for 103.

Adwalton remain two points further back after a 38-run win over Great Preston in a high-scoring encounter which produced 548 runs.

Matthew Donohoe (72) and Vinit Patel (55) helped Adwalton to 293-7. Oliver Baron (78), Michael Wade (46) and Lee Russell (40) led Great Preston's spirited reply of 255-8. Tom Lindsay (3-33) was the best of the Adwalton bowlers.

Lee Geldard and Matthew Westwood were the stand-out performers as Sandal defeated East Leeds by six wickets to register their first win of the season.

Geldard produced an impressive spell of 7-32 as East Leeds were bowled out for 164, Jacob Naylor (46) and Dean Atkinson (37) top scoring.

When Sandal replied, Westwood led the way as he hit 15 fours in a fine innings of 84. The victory lifted Sandal off the bottom – a position now occupied by Windhill & Daisy Hill after their 39-run defeat by Gildersome & Farnley Hill.

Veteran Maz Bhatti (5-30) and Byron Greenwood (4-13) gave them hope by bowling out Gildersome & Farnley Hill for 151, but their batsmen couldn't capitalise. They were bowled out for 112 with Ashley Marsh taking 6-23.

A fine spell of bowling from Syed Shah Bukhari (7-41) helped Azaad seal a 75-run win over Heckmondwike & Carlinghow.

Chavez Younis (59) and Mohammed Rashid (49) enabled Azaad to recover from 43-5 to post 195 despite the efforts of Riffat Kiani (4-28) and Paul Cooper (4-27).
