CAMPION went goal crazy at Goole in the Flexible Football West Riding County FA Under-21 Floodlit League, triumphing 14-0.

Clearly the better team from the start, the visitors were clinical in the first half, netting all three of their early chances only for each of them to be ruled offside.

However, it was still 7-0 by half-time as Goole paid the penalty for keeping a high line, while in the second half the hosts were punished when they tried to play out from the back.

Goole finally managed to lay a glove on Campion towards the end of the game with a counter-attack but Campion's goalkeeper James Beck made a great double save to keep his clean sheet.

Goal-scorers for Campion were Jahro Parchment (5), Kieron Batey, Kyle Trennery, Josh Finan, Ross Kelly, Tariq Hassan, Mazn Hassan and Matthias Britton, and manager Louis Etienne said: "We totally dominated the match and the score could have been 25-0."

Meanwhile, teams have been allowed to finish their season without completing their fixtures and will not be punished.

In the Northern Alliance Under-19 League, Bradford Park Avenue finished bottom of the table when they were hammered 8-1 by visitors Huddersfield YMCA, who were crowned champions.
