WEST Bowling coach Glenn Barraclough is hoping that his charges hit back on Saturday after a 14-try hammering.
Visitors Crosfields administered the 68-10 stuffing last Saturday in Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Two, and Barraclough said: "In a 25-year association with the club I have never seen a West Bowling team roll over and die like that.
"It was quite embarrassing but there was a positive response and an intensity in training on Tuesday."
Back for third-from-bottom Bowling for the home game against basement boys Saddleworth Rangers (played six, lost six), which has been switched because the Oldham club have sold off their function room, are Richard Lumb, Nat Light and, after a break from the sport, Oliver Bartle.
Drighlington, sandwiched between Bowling and Saddleworth, welcome Leigh East, looking for a second win of the season.
In Yorkshire Men’s League Division Two, Keighley Albion are at Heworth on the hunt for a first victory of the season.
Odsal Sedbergh welcome bottom-placed side West Leeds Eagles, while Wibsey Warriors host to King Cross Park.
Top-of-the-table Brighouse Rangers face York Lokomotive in Division Three, while Worth Village welcome Crofton Sports and Wyke travel to Sheffield Forgers in Division Four.
Wyke’s academy side are also in action in Division Five, at Wetherby Bulldogs.
Wyke, in the Pennine League, travel to Eastmoor Dragons, while Queensbury face derby rivals Clayton as the winter season near its end.
