MATTY Garside reckons the Bulls have learned some valuable lessons from Warrington for their table-topping trip to Doncaster.

John Kear's side head for the Keepmoat Stadium for the battle between two of the sides locked at the head of League One.

It is a key duel on the back of their Challenge Cup exit against the Wolves – and Garside believes they can take some pointers from that 54-6 defeat.

The second rower said: "The scoreline doesn't really reflect how much you will learn. The young lads will take a lot from it.

"They played really fast on us, carried the ball really strong and won the ruck a lot. But we can take some positives.

"We'll go back to the drawing board and see what we can take from the game.

"It's always good to come up against Super League opposition and they taught us a few lessons.

"Warrington came with a good attitude and blew us away. It's a massive learning curve for everyone.

"We'll do a lot of wrestle and ruck work in training and take that into the big one against Doncaster this weekend."

Around half of the crowd at the Halliwell Jones Stadium was made up of Bulls fans and Garside expects that travelling army to be out in force once more in south Yorkshire.

He added: "The fans behind the sticks were absolutely outstanding and they do give us a boost. It will be great to see them there again at Doncaster.

"Doncaster are no mugs. They are a really good side.

"It's a top-of-the-table clash and we need to win it.

"We'll dust ourselves down, be training hard and making sure our minds are focused."

Meanwhile, Bulls' postponed home game against London Skolars has been rearranged for Saturday, May 12 (3pm).
