Guiseley 1 Chester 1
SKIPPER Ash Palmer scrambled a dramatic equaliser in the fourth minute of added time to earn a point for Guiseley in their Vanarama National League relegation scrap at Nethermoor.
The Lions had the better of the opening half with Rowan Liburd hitting the bar and fellow striker James Roberts going close.
Chester, who Guiseley had beaten 2-0 on Boxing Day, weathered the storm and went ahead after 62 minutes when Kingsley James fired a low shot past Jonny Maxted.
Guiseley defender Jake Lawlor left the field late in the first half with what looked a nasty injury.
