THE Bulls could present their new coach in front of supporters at Odsal on Sunday.

The event for season-ticket holders is a chance for fans to meet the squad – and it may also see the announcement of Geoff Toovey's successor.

Interviews are continuing this week and it is thought that the club hierarchy are closing in on a decision.

The job has attracted plenty of interest, despite the prospect of leading the Bulls in their first-ever year in the third tier following last season's relegation from the Championship.

Paul Anderson, Jon Sharp and Neil Kelly are believed to be among the front-runners, while Richard Marshall, Matt Diskin and Lee Greenwood are other names to have been thrown in the hat.

The Bulls intend to have the new man well in place for the opening pre-season friendly against Halifax at Odsal on Boxing Day.

They also face home warm-up games against Sheffield, Toronto and Keighley, as well as a trip to Dewsbury, before the League One campaign kicks off at York on February 18.

Meanwhile, fans have three more days to buy 2018 season tickets at early-bird prices.

The current offers of £149 for terrace, £199 Provident Stand and £249 Premier Club run out at 5pm on Saturday. They will then all go up by £50 – but junior prices of £49, £99 and £129 will remain the same.

The Bulls have not revealed how many season tickets have been sold so far.

Squad numbers could also be announced on Sunday but there will be no unveiling of the new kit. It is understood there has been a delay with the supplier.

The weekend event, when season tickets will be available for collection, takes place in the Southbank. Doors open at 11am and it is expected to last until 2pm.
