BRADFORD and Yorkshire will be representing Britain in the World Natural Bodybuilding Championships in Bordeaux.

This weekend a team of bodybuilders from Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield will be taking part to win the competition after qualifying at the British Finals in Pontefract two weeks ago.

Originally the competition was going to be held in Guadeloupe in the Caribbean but due to the devastation caused by the hurricanes have been moved to Bordeaux in France.

Jason Barnett, from Bradford, is a former World Champion bodybuilder and Pride of Britain Award Finalist Nominee will be joining the team in order to help win the title.

He said:"I am 100% motivated to win a second world title in France in order to be able to have access to the appropriate organisations to inspire and motivate others particularly young people and vulnerable children in an effort to change the lives of a lot of children in the UK but particularly in Bradford.

Other members of the team are Denton Wilson, Nick Adams, Caroline Oliver and manager Delroy Galloway.
