THERE is a mixture of domestic and district FA Cup games for West Riding County Amateur League teams this afternoon.

The Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup tie between Field and Salts should finally go ahead after being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch last month.

Both sides are smarting from heavy defeats last weekend – Field having lost 6-0 in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup to Manchester League side Springhead, while Salts went down 5-1 at Premier Division rivals Golcar United.

A close encounter is certainly envisaged then, with plenty at stake and both out to bounce back.

Field Reserves will also be in action as they meet Campion in round two, while Wibsey host St Bede's and TVR United visit Idle in third-round fixtures.

In the Premier Division, second-placed Golcar could move to within five points of leaders Salts, albeit they face a tough test at home to last season's champions Lower Hopton.

Steeton can claim third place from Campion if they are victorious over visiting Thornton United.
