FILIPE Morais admits he is still "blown away" by memories of City's win at Chelsea.

As the Bantams start another FA Cup campaign against Chesterfield this weekend, the former winger will never forget the club's most famous victory of modern times.

Morais left Valley Parade in January to rejoin Phil Parkinson at Bolton and helped them get promoted to the Championship.

Yet the Stamford Bridge triumph three seasons ago remains his highlight as a player.

Morais said: "My formative years as a kid were at Chelsea, so everything I know and all my beliefs and the way I play and what's engrained in me is from Chelsea.

"It is a huge part of my life, so going back there was amazing. Scoring and winning was mind-blowing and it will be hard to beat as the most special day in my career.

"I've had other really good experiences, like getting promoted with Bolton. My first and only promotion so far was phenomenal."

Morais was speaking during a visit to the children and young person's unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary. He gave a donation from proceeds from the first year of his MPro Football Academy, which is based in the city.

Morais is enjoying working again under Parkinson as Bolton start to pick up after a tough start in the second tier. He said: "It's like we've never been apart."
