GUISELEY Vixens return to action after their blank week when they entertain Northern Division rivals Huddersfield Town in the FA Women's Premier League Cup.

It has been a difficult start for Guiseley following their promotion from Northern Division One, and they are currently anchored to foot of the table 11 points and eight places behind Town. So, progress in this competition looks like a tall order.

Northern Division One side Brighouse Town had a week off to brood on their penalty shoot out County Cup defeat by Bradford City, but they are back in action tomorrow when they take on league rivals Chester-le-Street in the League Cup.

This game will also serve as a pointer toward prospects of Women's FA Cup progress as the two sides will meet again in that competition in a fortnight.

A hat-trick from Jordan Cheetham helped Farsley Celtic to a 4-0 win at Yorkshire Amateur in the County Cup and they will now be at home in the second round on November 19 to Harrogate Railway – penalty shoot out winners over Farsley Reserves in the last round.

Next up for Farsley is yet another trip north to take on Norton and Stockton Ancients in the North East Regional League Premier Division. Both teams to date have played two and won two in the league.

Bradford Park Avenue were at last able to field a full-strength squad for their West Riding County League Premier Division game against pointless Brayton Belles and they duly completed their first win of the season. Nicki Houldsworth completed a hat-trick as they ran out 3-1 winners.

Tomorrow Avenue are at Harold Park where they take on a Tingley Athletic side boasting three wins from three.

In the same division, Brighouse Athletic are at home to leaders Yorkshire Amateur and Silsden entertain Hepworth.

Division One's top two, Farsley Celtic Reserves and Clifton, drew 1-1, substitute Camille Clarke scoring the Farsley goal, and tomorrow they are at home to Republica Internationale.

Silsden Reserves are at home to Hemsworth Miners Welfare, in a bottom two clash, while Second Division promotion hopefuls Lower Hopton go to Ripon City, fresh from a 5-0 win over Farsley Celtic Development.

Unbeaten Third Division leaders Thackley are at home to Durkar tomorrow, while second-placed Tyersal maintained their unbeaten record with a 1-1 draw at home to Ilkley Town.

Tomorrow, they entertain a Kirkstall Crusaders side still looking for their first win.

Jayne Barber gave Tyersal a first half lead against Ilkley, almost 20 years after scoring the goal that promoted Bradford City to the National Division of the old FA Women's Premier League. But the Wharfedale side fought back and levelled through Charlotte Hill.
