FLIX have suffered a big blow to their hopes of surviving in the Premier Section of the Quaid-e-Azam League.

Fellow relegation candidates Raja's made 150, of which Khurram Hussain scored 50, but Flix could only make 139 in reply.

Heaton Park are bottom, and Raja's, who have climbed above Flix into third from bottom, aren't necessarily safe themselves, but have given themselves a much better chance.

OnQ defeated beat White Rose, who made 77, by five wickets.

In Section A, a thrilling derby between Karmand and Indus Ghari took place at the Jinnah Cricket Ground, which is home to both teams.

Sohail Khan (69no) and Fazal Wazeer (46) helped Karmand to a solid 241-8, but Indus Ghari had Naeem Lodhi (81), Mohammed Mukadas (42) and Azhar Lodhi (41) in form as they also rwached 241 before losing their final wicket in a tie.

Earlmarshall are continuing with their efforts to fight for a place in the Premier Division, the victory over Rising Stars pushing them ahead of their opponents into third in Section A.

Earlmarshall scored 197, with Poonram hitting 50, while Shezad Javed took 5-38. Rising Stars were dismissed for 112.

Sufyan Zaman (63), Haseeb Hashim (42) and Binny Hyder (42) helped Shaheen to 196, and TABS dropped to fifth after making only 150 in reply.

Bradford Moor, winners of the Chefgenie Cup, were defeated by leaders Punjab by three wickets after making only 128 (Sohail Akram 51).

Surprise championship contenders Diamonds are also looking strong, defeating Azad by 133 runs.

Intezaar Mahmood (64no) and Rizwan Mushtaq (40) were instrumental in Diamonds reaching 217-6 before Azad were all out for 84.

In Section B, there was a great battle between leaders EAM and second-placed Style, who have both joined the league this season from the West Riding Sunday Council, at East Morton.

Style made 245, aided by Majid Khan (70), Aamir Rehman (55) and Uzair Khan (54) but, despite Amjad Hussain's 106, EAM could only make 235.

Azad Arif scored an unbeaten 104 for Patriots in their 218, but he was outscored by Kashmir Bradford's Jawad Waheed (115) as the latter won by four wickets, Azad Arif picking up 4-18.

Bradford Royals are joint leaders after defeating Green Stars by 43 runs.

Royals scored 133 and then Banaras Hussain took 5-36 as Stars were dismissed for 90.

Central Leeds beat Chach by four wickets, despite 57 and 5-27 from Azhar Ali.

Chach scored 177 but a fine 89 not lut by skipper Adnan Ahmed took Central Leeds to victory.

Akash Rangzeb (5-20) destroyed Kings XI for 69, Lions winning by ten wickets.
