THREE couples picked up volunteer certificates at Baildon RUFC's summer ball at the Halfway House.
They were Chris and Linda Williams (Valentine's Ball and other social events), Phil and Julie Wilson (membership, minutes, Valentine's Ball and Ladies' Day) and Andy Pollard (director of rugby and director of girls' rugby) and Donna Hector (girls' rugby and safeguarding).
Other volunteers to receive certificates were Tim Harrison and Paul Baildon (sponsorship), Dan Cookson (Bumbles), Mark Purvis (president), Robbie Hill (head coach), Danny Pollard (under-12s), Dan Fletcher (second XV vice-captain), Carl Dunk (youth fixtures), Mark Eastell (under-12s) and Dan Horne and Nik Blakey (under-11s).
The function was the first of many for Yorkshire RFU's Mike Smith (Halifax) in his presidential year.
