BRIGHOUSE Town will be looking for a third consecutive pre-season friendly victory when they make the trip to Penistone Church tonight.
Town boss Vill Powell had seven trialists in his match-day squad when they won 3-1 at Bridlington Town on Saturday, and he will be aiming to finalise his squad as the new Evo-Stik Division One season looms large.
Penistone are just one step lower on the football pyramid after last season’s promotion to the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division via the play-offs after a sixth place finish in Division One.
Guiseley and Thackley both back in friendly action tomorrow.
The Lions travel to Penistone’s league counterparts Handsworth Parramore, while the Dennyboys are at home against Brighouse Town’s rivals Colne.
