THE Bulls have been dealt a blow ahead of their crunch clash with Swinton on Sunday after news that three players have been recalled by their parent clubs.

Loanees Mikolaj Oledzki and Cameron Smith have returned to injury-hit Leeds Rhinos, with both youngsters named in their squad to face Wigan tomorrow night.

Dual-registration back Ed Chamberlain, who was among the try-scorers for Bradford in their weekend defeat to Batley, is also back with Widnes after being included in the 19-man line-up for their clash with Warrington tonight.

Having recently lost star winger Ethan Ryan and new recruit Ashley Gibson to season-ending injuries, the trio's absence will stretch the Bulls' already thin resources for what is a must-win game at home to Swinton.

The Lions are ten points above Geoff Toovey's men in the Championship table and anything less than victory would all but end Bradford's hopes of escaping the relegation zone.

Polish teenager Oledzki had helped beef up the Bulls pack despite being only 18. But at least new recruit Damian Sironen has provided some fresh impetus to the forwards since arriving from Australia.

The prop has hit the ground running with two stand-out performances against Hull KR and Batley since signing until the end of the season.

Oledzki said: "Damian's great and offers a lot in his game. Playing with him gives you a bit of an extra buzz because he plays really fast, he runs hard, tackles hard and is a player you can rely on to make that tackle or support you.

"He is a very good asset and the team are all glad to have him."
