WEST BOWLING'S bid to earn promotion at the first attempt in National Conference League Division Three continues with an away trip to Clock Face Miners tomorrow.

Glenn Barraclough's side maintained their winning streak last weekend in another points bonanza at Eastmoor last week.

But it was no stroll in the park as the Dragons were edged out 46-40.

Bowling, who are top by two points, are easily the highest scorers in the division and also have the top individual points talisman in Harry Williams (190).

Dudley Hill were unable to replicate their neighbours' success as they went down 20-6 at Millom in Division Two.

In Yorkshire Men's League Division One, Odsal Sedbergh will hope to get back to winning ways at basement side York Acorn tomorrow after going down 36-14 at high-flying Norland Sharks.

Wibsey Warriors produced one of their best results of the season as they beat Division Two leaders Hull Wyke 30-24 at home, leaving them fourth in the table.

Their A team were on the losing side though as they lost local bragging rights in a 56-14 defeat at West Bowling A.

In the Premier Division, Queensbury return to action at home to Bentley.
