HAMID Khan played a key role as Apperley Bridge climbed off the foot of the Group A table after beating Bradford Gymkhana by four wickets in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League.

Gymkhana opted to bat first and were all out for 135 as Khan bagged 4-16. Bridge then lost six wickets but dug in to log only their second win of the season.

Interlink top the table by 28 points after beating mid-table Yorkshire LPS by eight wickets, LPS having been skittled for 58 as Yunus Bismillah took 4-19.

Bradford Moor kept up the pressure at the summit as they defeated Allerton by 89 runs. Bradford Moor totalled 176-9 and Allerton were bowled out for 87 (Abdul Hamid 4-12) in reply, despite a resilient 45 from Yasir Shezad.

Omars remain third despite losing to Hallfield by two wickets. Omars were bowled out for 124 by Shahid Mehmood (4-44) and Sajid Mehmood (4-25), before Ahmed Fraz Mirza's 62 guided Hallfield to their target.

Great Horton Church beat arch-rivals Girlington by 37 runs as they posted 174 against Razakat Ali (5-49), before dismissing their ten-man opponents for 137 as Ishtiaq Raza took 5-26.

Salem Athletic climbed to the top of Group B after crushing Bradford Gymkhana by 155 runs. Salem were all out for 242 (Mohammed Awais 72, Hafiz Rehman 62, Mohammed Sarwar 4-42) but Gymkhana could only muster 87.

The Mir brothers took centre stage as Yorkshire Friends dropped to second after losing to Parkside by 62 runs. Parkside made 144 (Farhaad Mir 87, Amber Shazad 4-13) and Friends were all out for 82 as Parkside skipper Adeil Mir took 5-34.

Mayfield remain third after losing to Girlington by 39 runs. Girlington were all out for 204 (Rashad Mahmood 78) and Mayfield fell short on 165, Sajid Shah scoring 47 as well as taking three wickets. Shahid Saleem, playing his first game of the season, took 6-30 for Girlington.

Cambing won by six wickets against Bowling Baptist, who were dismissed for 121 as Mohammed Ayaz took 5-20. Asif Gul's unbeaten 60 sealed the victory.

Sohail Butt (58no) and Shabaz Ishaq (81) shared a stand of 163 for the sixth wicket, after Hallfield had been struggling at 32-5 in reply to Great Horton Church's 196-8 (Zaheer Ahmed 71no, Sohail Butt 4-29), to secure a four-wicket win.

TABS moved top of Group C after beating ten-man Bradford Moor by eight wickets. Moor were bowled out for 132 (Asif Munir 61, Umair Ali 4-28), before Tahir Qazi (59) and M Rizwan (55) sealed the win.

Salem (148 – Aftab Yasir 40) moved up to third place after knocking Cambing off top spot with a 66-run victory courtesy of Meher Sultan (4-21) and Rab Nawaz (4-22).

Denholme Clough (160 – Ishaq Ali 53, Aamir Riaz 59, Tariq Mahmood 4-49) climbed to fourth after leapfrogging Bowling Baptist, who they beat by 61 runs as Riaz completed an excellent all-round performance by taking 4-4.

Bottom side Great Horton Meths won just their second game as they defeated Bradford Indians by four wickets. The Indians were all out for 72, after recovering from 14-7 as Antony Moss took 5-5 for Meths, who were also struggling at 22-6 before edging home.

The final match in the section finished in a tie as both Mandhata (Darren Reynolds 5-20) and Mayfield (Paul Cuthbertson 42no, Naresh Patel 5-19) were all out for 116.

Greenfield remain top of Group D after beating Central YMCA, who were all out for 90 (Zaheer Ahmed 4-16) in reply to their opponents' 228-7 (Nadeem Rathore 55no, Adeel Ahmed 52).

Allerton stay second after seeing off West Bowling (110) by seven wickets thanks to Nadeem Khaliq's unbeaten 72.

Muff Field A (148-9 – Alex Pearson 42, Vinod Patel 4-41) are third after defeating Yorkshire LPS (Kalyan Chakraverthy 45, Ian Slattery 4-24) by 27 runs.

Muff Field B were 115-run winners against Great Horton Meths, who were all out for 98 (Gary Smith 4-26) in response to 213-9 (Islam Khokhar 57, Smith 43, Steve Pass 4-53).
