PLAY was only possible in one of the six Bank Holiday first-team matches in the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League yesterday.

The action was at Wagon Lane, where 16.3 overs were possible in Bradford & Bingley's game against Farsley.

The hosts were reduced to 30-3 before rain halted play.

Yorkshire left-armer James Wainman took 2-10 in seven overs as Bradford & Bingley found run scoring tough.

Farsley picked up one bowling bonus point but it was little consolation for a side that has now had their last three matches rained off.

There was better news for their second team, who beat the weather to defeat Bowling Old Lane at Red Lane in their Premier Division.

The Rams were indebted to Adnan Mahmood (51) and Matthew Green (57) as they scored 160-7 in their 36 overs.

Old Lane were then bowled out for 128 in 30.1 overs, with Haroon Mahmood taking 4-42.

He was supported by Byron Grant (3-23) and Matthew Revis (2-19).

All of the other second-team games were called off.
