AN UNCLE and niece from Bradford have qualified for national finals in the Riding for the Disabled Countryside Challenge.
Mark Slocombe, 40, and 12-year-old Grace Horsley will both compete at the Hartpury International Equestrian Centre in Gloucestershire in July.
They finished as runners-up in different categories in a regional qualifier at Middleton in Leeds.
Slocombe works in the cafeteria at Marks & Spencers in the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bradford, while Grace is a pupil at Beckfoot School.
Grace, who is a member of the RDA at Riverside in Bingley, has been in the final twice before but Slocombe – a member of nearby St Ives RDA – is in the final for the first time.
He achieved the highest marks in the 30-40 years age group and will receive a RDA medal for this achievement.
