COUGARS have re-signed Hamish Barnes following his release from Championship side Dewsbury Rams.
The Jamaican international centre left Keighley at the end of last year but, having scored one try in eight appearances for Rams, he is back at Cougar Park and has been allocated the No 34 jersey.
The capture of Barnes, who scored 20 tries in 28 appearances in his first spell, is a big boost for head coach Craig Lingard, who has lost playmaker Ritchie Hawkyard for a significant period following his clash of heads with Hunslet's Jimmy Watson over Easter.
