NEW loan signings are "in the pipeline" for the Bulls – but not before tomorrow's tough assignment at Toulouse.

Bradford head to the south of France for round 12 of their Kingstone Press Championship campaign following back-to-back defeats over Easter.

Loanees Jordan Lilley and Daniel Murray remain unavailable after being recalled by Leeds and Salford respectively, while injured quartet James Bentley, Joe Keyes, Ross Peltier and Lee Smith are all missing.

New 'signing' Dane Chisholm is another who will not be available for this weekend's game as the Bulls' off-field wrangles with Sheffield Eagles continue over the player's registration.

Interim coach Leigh Beattie does have James Mendeika, Leon Pryce, Colton Roche and Sam Hallas all fit and raring to go however – and believes further reinforcements could arrive next week.

Beattie told the T&A: "There are a few loans in the pipeline to come in next week. That will strengthen us again moving forward.

"Some might be season-long loans. Hopefully we can get them through and it will strengthen us again when we come back from France.

"There's definitely none coming in this week though because a few Super League clubs have got injuries after the Easter period. That takes its toll."

Beattie insists new additions are vital to his battered and bruised Bulls as their quest for Championship survival hits the halfway point of the regular season.

"I haven't experienced anything like this before – I don't think many teams have," he said.

"But that's what we have been dealt with and credit to the staff and players, everyone has mucked in and worked hard on and off the field.

"We can only keep working hard, try to knock these minus points off and see where it takes us.

"Our morale is good and I don't think the players let themselves down over Easter. The effort is there but we've not got a big squad – we had some busted lads and young kids in. We just didn't have enough."

Second-placed Toulouse welcome the Bulls having ended Hull KR's unbeaten run on Easter Monday and with an impressive record on home turf.

Beattie said: "We had some stuff to work on and this will be a big test. Toulouse don't normally travel well (they lost the reverse fixture at Odsal) but they play very well over there.

"They will be tough to beat. They are a big side with a big pack and their outside backs are strong and carry strong. We have watched the footage.

"The players certainly don't need me to tell them that we are not going there for a holiday. They are professionals."
