OLD Otliensians and Otley Saracens, who meet next week in the Latino Ceramics Aire-Wharfe Cup, racked up the points in their first-round ties.

Otliensians, who play in Yorkshire Division Three, scored 13 tries in their 77-5 romp at home to Bramley Phoenix.

Tries went to Connor Bateman (4), Alex Murphy (3), Luke Cowdell, Josh Howarth, Will Cooper, Conor Paley, Rob Lofthouse and John Offer, with Cooper adding six conversions.

Otley's second team ran in 51 unanswered points at West Park Leeds Seconds to set up the derby at Chaffers Field.

Wharfedale's third team defeated Baildon 43-7 at The Avenue to set up a tie at Keighley Seconds, who had a bye.

Fly half Jonny Davies set the Greens ball rolling with the first try, and others followed for No 8 Morgan Davies, wingers Sam Smith (2) and Simon Horsfall, full back Sam Mason and centre Will Davidson, scrum half Rory McNabb landing four conversions.

Will Craven got Baildon's reply, with Tom Massey converting.

Holders Ilkley Seconds beat a youthful Bradford & Bingley second team 25-0 at Aire View, and will now host West Leeds Seconds.

Ilkley's try-scorers were Liam Copsey, Andy Cromack and an effort by the pack, with Charles Ramsay landing three conversions and two penalties.

Hamish Munro got Skipton's try.

The Bees, who haven't had a second team since Christmas, drafted in seven of their colts' team - Ethan Smith, Will Lawn, Josh Lawn, Sohail Zafar, Matt Lee, Luca Devittoris and Dave Exley, with Smith and Josh Lawn particularly impressing.

Aireborough's coach Simon Davies will return to Shay Lane next week to face Bradford Salem Seconds after the former won 29-10 at Roundhegians Seconds, while Salem triumphed 15-5 at Skipton.

Lewis Barrett (2), Richard Holmes, Iain Craven and Davies crossed for Aire, with Ollie Catherall landing two conversions, while Chris Watson and Ben Whitaker did likewise for Salem, with Sam Riley adding a penalty and a conversion.

Alex Clarke and Josh Bateson got the tries for Yarnbury Seconds in their 19-12 home defeat to West Leeds, with George Oldridge adding a conversion.

Ben Waddington and Jim Foster-Matthews got the tries for West Leeds, who also added a penalty try.
