LEE Smith insists the Bulls' season will not be decided on the next three Championship games.

Winless Dewsbury head to Odsal tomorrow to kick off a run against teams who are all likely to be relegation rivals.

The Bulls then face Oldham and Sheffield, who have both only won once, in a sequence that should see them wipe out the remaining six points of their minus deficit.

Smith understands the importance of the coming weeks but also stressed that it is not make or break.

The experienced back, who missed last week's Challenge Cup exit to Featherstone with a knock, said: "They are big games against teams who are probably going to be in the mix around us at the bottom end of the table.

"But let's not forget that it's a long season. If we win these three games, it doesn't mean we're safe. Then again, if we lose all three, we're not doomed.

"But they are important and we are looking forward to them. Two of the games are at home, which is good because we want to make Odsal a bit of a fortress."

Glenn Morrison's Rams have lost all five games so far and a Bulls win would cut the gap between the two sides to just four points.

Smith said: "They are in the same boat as us and need to get as many points as possible before the end of the season and leading into that split competition.

"But we'll concentrate on ourselves and what we can do. If we're honest, the team and myself don't really care about Dewsbury.

"We'll take the field tomorrow, hopefully pick up the two points and crack on into next week. There's pressure on every game but we're just looking forward to it. There's a long way to go yet."
