PARK AVENUE have signed utility player Jamie Spencer on loan from Huddersfield Town.
The central midfielder, who is equally comfortable in defence, joins Mark Bower’s team until the end of the season.
The loan deal for the 19-year-old was completed yesterday before the deadline for player registrations this campaign.
Spencer was captain of Huddersfield’s under-18 side last season, earning his first professional contract, and has lined up for the under-23s this term.
His mother Jayne is the club’s community development manager.
The tough tackler is available to make his debut in Bradford’s home match with Altrincham tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Tom Davie has made his switch to Gainsborough Trinity permanent.
