ATHLETICO are back up to second in the Spen Valley League Premier Division.
Their 3-0 victory at next-to-bottom Savile United has lifted them above Dewsbury West Side.
Mohammed Ikraaz (2) and Mohammed Raaj netted for Athletico, meaning that they are now only behind Palestino.
They beat visitors West Side 4-1, with Ben McArdle's brace being supplemented by Zubair Khan and Theo Bujra, with Jamil Sair getting the consolation.
Athletico trail Palestino by eight points but have a game in hand.
In the First Division, second-placed Inter Batley had a 6-1 victory at Marsh, thanks to Awaab Ahmed (3), Usman Dadhiwala, Osama Ahmed and Yusuf Dadhiwala, with David Webster replying.
Fourth-placed Savile Town had a 4-1 victory over third-placed Norfolk, cutting the margin between them to three points.
Noman Hussain (2), Sajeel Qadir and Waqar Bashir were on target for Town, with Ismail Loonat bagging the consolation.
In the lower half of the table, Dewsbury West Side Reserves climbed a place after winning 3-0 at bottom club Howden Clough, with Haseeb Shahid (2) and Corey Joseph the marksmen.
