STUART McCall admitted City were “sloppy” as they slipped up at Shrewsbury.
Freddie Ladapo scored the only goal just before half-time after a blunder from Nathaniel Knight-Percival.
McCall said: “The bottom line is we had too many players who under-performed today. They are an honest bunch and they know that.
“There were three or four lads who probably had their poorest game of the season. Unfortunately for us it was all at the same time.
“We were sloppy in possession and casual. It was probably symptomatic of the game that it was an error that gave them a goal.”
