Yorkshire Division One: Keighley 26 Old Brodleians 21

KEIGHLEY survived a late rally by second-placed Old Brodleians to record a well-deserved win.

The hosts led 18-7 at half-time after tries by Alex Brown and Jack Atkinson, with Brown adding a conversion and two penalty goals.

In between, Dom Georgiou touched down for Brods, with Oliver Akroyd converting.

Early in the second half, Keighley extended the lead through a try by Dan Snowden and a further Brown penalty before the visitors mounted a strong comeback with tries by Tom Wilson and Michael Briggs, converted by Akroyd to reduce Keighley’s lead to two points.
