ROBBIE Hunter-Paul has officially left the Bulls, the club have confirmed.

It was announced after the home win over Oldham two weekends ago that the legendary former Bradford captain had taken "compassionate leave".

Now it has been revealed that he has departed Odsal altogether and will not be returning to his role as chief executive.

Hunter-Paul was brought on board by Omar Khan and Gerry Sutcliffe in July 2013 and served as chief executive at the Bulls.

Chairman Marc Green said in a brief statement: "I am saddened to see Robbie leave but understand his position and wish him and his family all the best."

Hunter-Paul said: "I would like to thank everyone for their amazing support over the past three years.

"Following our recent addition to the Hunter-Paul household, I am looking forward to spending some much needed time with my family after what has been an incredibly demanding period.

"Whilst I will no longer be involved in the day-to-day running of the business, I can never leave the Bulls – because how can you leave something which is intrinsically a part of your being and personality – and I look forward to attending games in a non-working capacity."

The 40-year-old will continue in his role as a trustee of the Bradford Bulls Foundation.
