PAUL Anderson could be on his way out of City before the transfer deadline.

The winger has not been included in Stuart McCall’s squad for this afternoon’s Valley Parade clash with Oldham.

That will further raise speculation about Anderson’s future amid suggestions that the club are looking to pay him off. His contract is due to run until next summer.

Anderson, who is understood to be one of City’s top earners, has had a difficult time since joining a year ago.

He broke his leg in September against Peterborough and missed the next seven months before returning to action right at the end of the season.

Anderson started the EFL Cup game at Accrington, playing 65 minutes, but has been restricted to three sub appearances in the league.
