JOE Keyes has become the latest player to be signed by the Bulls after being handed a long-term deal until the end of 2018.

The former England Academy player and Ireland international, 20, recently left London Broncos having been with the club since he was 12.

The half-back progressed through the youth system before making his Super League debut aged 18 in 2014 against Widnes Vikings.

Keyes featured for the England Academy in 2014 before playing for Ireland in the European Cup last year.

“It is a massive club and I’ve never been anywhere other than London, so to come to a place like Bradford is really exciting for me,” said Keyes.

“I know a few of the boys here and they’ll help me settle in and hopefully I can get into training this week and rip in.

“I feel like I’ve got a lot to offer and I don’t think I’ve shown everyone what I’m capable of yet, so I’m hoping to find a bit of form, give 100% as I always do and get stuck in.

“It’s good to have a bit of stability for the next few years and I’m looking forward to working with Rohan over the next few seasons.”

Bulls head coach Rohan Smith said:  “I’m pleased we have brought Joe to the club.

“He is a player who has performed well in Super League in the past and a young talent on his way up in the game and we’re grateful to have him here.

“Joe is a guy who wants to advance his career and we want to give him that opportunity.

“He is a traditional style half-back and definitely one to help us down the line.”
