WARRINGTON forward Joe Philbin has signed for the Bulls on a one-month loan deal with Johnny Campbell joining Keighley Cougars, also on a one-month loan.

The 21-year-old Philbin, who can play as a prop and in the back row, previously had a short spell on loan at the Bulls in 2014 under Francis Cummins.

He featured in the pre-season friendlies against Hull FC, Dewsbury Rams and Castleford Tigers.

“I’m looking forward to playing consistent games for a top quality side,” said Philbin.

“I want to get some consistency in my game and the Bulls is perfect place to do that.

“I’ve just had my first session this morning and I’ve really enjoyed it.

“I bring an explosive running game and I’ll be aiming to do my all in a Bulls shirt every week.”

Bulls head coach Rohan Smith said: “Joe is a great young man. I had a really enjoyable time with him yesterday talking about life and footie.

“He is very determined to come and represent himself and the Bulls in the coming month. He offers some versatility playing in the middle and on the edge as well.

“I’ve had a couple of good chats with Tony and Richard Agar about Joe. They have got a high opinion of him and I’m looking forward to seeing him play for the Bulls and develop over the next month.”

Campbell has found himself down the pecking order at Bradford and has joined Keighley on loan for a month.
