INTERLINK are the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group A leaders after an eight-wicket win over Apperley Bridge.

Bridge were 6-3 but reached 159-8 thanks to a fifth-wicket partnership of 61 between Sher Khan and Mohammed Junaid and an eighth-wicket partnership of 50 between Rehan Mohammed and Hamid Khan as Yasin Ibrahim took 4-26.

Interlink replied with 160-2 in 31.1 overs, Irfan Jamadar scoring 50 and Ismail Adam 62 not out as they added 110 for the second wicket.

Omars have dropped into second place after losing to Girlington by 125 runs, with the latter being all out for 245 in 39.5 overs, Raja Farhad scoring 61 and Musawar Shah 40 as Rizwan Ali took 4-31.

Shah then completed an good all-round day by taking 4-31 and Zahid Khaliq 4-42 as Omars were restricted to 120 in 21.3 overs.

Bradford Gymkhana could only make 49 in 20.2 overs, Zafar Mahmood taking 5-5, and Bradford Moor made light of that with 50-1 in 9.4 overs.

Great Horton Church made 166 (Mohammed Zahid 69, Shahid Iqbal 4-48) but Salem Athletic could only reply with 133 (Basit Khan 42, Ishtiaq Raza 5-51).

Hallfield, who made 185 (Navgot Singh Bains 83, Zubair Imtiaz 4-61), beat VVS Laxman by 20 runs, Laxmans hitting 165 (Viney Chohan 74, Mukesh Pate1 53, Shujjah Khan 4-37).

In Group B, Allerton are joint top with Parkside after beating Cambing by five wickets.

Azar Ali bagged a hat-trick in his 4-25 for Allerton in Cambing's 168 (Asif Gul 55), Yasir Shahzad scoring 48 in Allerton's successful reply.

Parkside defeated Bradford Gymkhana by 71 runs after making 197 (Amir Afsar 65), Muhammad Jameel getting 47 for Gymkhana as Adeil Mir took 4-22.

Yorkshire LPS hit an impressive 230-9, Ghazanfer Ali scoring 73, against Girlington, who could only score 125 (Bhavin D Patel 4-20).

Salem Athletic gained a winning draw against Great Horton Church, despite only scoring 125 (Abrar Hussain 4-44), Church holding out at 104-9.

Cross Roads & Daisy Hill fared even worse against Bowling Baptists, totalling only 75 after Baptists had made 160

(Krishna Kayyalamudi 68, Ian Clayton 4-55).

Hallfield lead Group C after defeating Yorkshire LPS by six wickets, Sohail Butt returning outstanding figures of 5-2 in LPS' 119, Hallfield replying with 123-4 (Haroon Rashid 44).

Cambing beat Great Horton Meths by three wickets in a low-scoring game, Meths hitting 107 (Murad Mirza 4-29) and Cambing 108-7.

Mazhar Iqbal cracked 105 not out for Greenfield in their 249-9 (Iftikhar Ahmed 43, Mohammed Rafiq 4-77), but West Bowling could only make 92-8.

Yorkshire Friends saw off Bowling Baptists, with the latter totalling 149 (Waqas Ali 58, Zeeshan Kazmi 6-47), Kazmi also starring with the bat, scoring 65 in Friends' 153-3.

In Group D, Mayfield are leading after beating Muff Field B by four wickets.

Muff Field B scored 106 (Pete Burkinshaw 54), Colin Dunne taking a hat-trick for Mayfield, who replied with 107-6 (Paul Cuthbertson 44).

Slightly easier was Muff Field A's victory over Great Horton Meths, who were dismissed for 57, Paul Leach (41no) seeing Muff Field home by five wickets.

Closer was TABS' win over Greenfield, who made 128, TABS replying with 129-7, skipper AB Mughal scoring an unbeaten 46.

Bradford Indians gained a winning draw against Allerton after making 174-5 (Imran Kasujee 54, Vikramjeet Singh 41no), Sohail Shah being unbeaten on 51 in Allerton's 149-9.

Buttershaw St Paul's also got a winning draw against Central YMCA after making only 110-7 (Wayne Broxholme 4-24), YMCA scoring 86-8 after tea (John Taylor 5-10).
