DIVER Tom Daley reckons the Great Britain kit for the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games is the best yet.

The 2012 bronze medalist was joined by a sparkling array of Britain's top Olympic stars at yesterday's kit launch in London.

They included Otley's road cycling world champion Lizzie Armitstead, and Bingley Harriers' triathlon stars Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.

Like for London 2012, designer Stella McCartney collaborated with athletes including Daley, heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill and cyclist Laura Trott in designing the kit for August's Olympics and September's Paralympics.

"This year's kit is just incredible," said Daley. "It's so different to 2012 – it's even better. Stella has done an amazing job with designing it, in making it functional, yet it still looks amazing.

"The swimming trunks are definitely the smallest piece of kit. They look great, especially using the coat of arms, especially designed for Team GB.

"It is something that is going to be iconic for this year and can be used for many Olympics to come."
