IF last week's 64-0 victory at Heath is anything to go by, Yorkshire Division One leaders Bradford & Bingley could be even harder to contain now that the pitches are drying out.

"We are set up as a fast-track team," admitted director of rugby Martin Whitcombe, "and last weekend was the second time this season when all our backs have scored a try.

"Also we asked our skipper Brett Mitchell to play out of position on the flank, and he was outstanding, and we are blessed to have 18-year-old James Pinder to play at fly half, thus following in the footsteps of Gerhard Nortier."

The Bees lead Malton & Norton by four points with a game in hand, and Whitcombe added: "We have had some difficult away games since Christmas, such as Bridlington, Scarborough and Old Brodleians."

Fifth-placed York can be added to that lost tomorrow for the unchanged Bees.

Ninth-placed Bradford Salem are at home to bottom club West Park Leeds, and welcome the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Joanne Dodds, to Shay Lane for the second time in four days.

The civic leader presented the prizes there on Wednesday, when Bradford University faced Huddersfield University at rugby union (men and women), archery, American football and frisbee.

Salem welcome back scrum half Ian Woodwiss and skipper Jamie Booth, and move Ali Veitch back to hooker, Tom Craven to flanker, with Dan Snowden at lock for the derby.

West Park Leeds old boy Adam Hewitt is on the bench.

Wibsey play their first semi-final since 1999 when they travel to Stanley Rodillians in the Yorkshire Division Five Cup.

"We are missing four of our squad but we are in with a shout," said Wibsey's manager Steve Brooke.

Otley, whose three match winning run in National League Two North was halted in cruel fashion at Sedgley Park last weekend, are holding their Gold Members' lunch prior to the home match against South Leicester.

Cleckheaton welcome back scrum half Jack Bickerdike and full back James Wilson as they continue their battle against relegation at Stockport in National League Three North.

Elsewhere there are derbies in Yorkshire Division Two (Old Grovians v Keighley) and Three (Bramley Phoenix v Baildon).
