PUDSEY'S Gymmagic Gymnastics Club, who are based on Grangefield Industrial Estate, have 'pommelled' the opposition in the Women’s Artistic Yorkshire Levels competition at Catterick Garrison.

They won 12 individual titles and six team championships, and took 24 trophies and 113 medals in all, despite being up against clubs from all over the county.

Gymmagic's individual winners were Lotty Phillipson, Amelia Shann, Hannah Ward, Lucia Margaix, Leyla Gellan, Martha Nithsdale, Storm Hanley, Luciana Gillard, Lauren Webster, Zoe Harvey, Megan Bridge and Megan Bramley.

This was on the back of great results in the Yorkshire General Gymnastics' floor and vault competition last month, and silver medals on debut for the Teamgym at the Northwest and Goole opens.

Gymmagic founder Sharon Gott explained: "We will have to look at expanding our trophy cabinet substantially after what has been a brilliant 2015.

"The girls will be competing at the National NDP (National Development Plan) Finals and the British Championships next year.

"We are hugely proud of all of our gymnasts and the hard work and dedication of everyone at Gymmagic. Here's to a similar story in 2016!" added Sharon who founded the club, which has around 1,200 members, in 2005.
