THE Bradford branch of the ECB Association of Cricket Officials (ACO) are holding a Level One course at Pudsey Congs Cricket Club on Saturdays January 23, 30 and February 6, with an examination to follow on February 13.
The first three sessions are noon-5pm and the course costs £30, which is payable at the first session.
The fee includes all course material, workbook etc, a copy of Tom Smith's Umpiring and Scoring and the cost of the exam.
The course prepares all candidates for league cricket, with in-depth teaching of the laws and many video clips to help with interpretation.
The course tutor will be David Ratcliffe and candidates attending will be offered first-year membership of ECB ACO at a reduced cost.
