Abdur Rahim and Trevaughn Terrelonge scored for Palestino with Shamraz Hussain on target for Athletico.
Second-placed Vision FC Wyke thrashed Whitburn Athletic 5-0 as Lia Hartley claimed a treble and Chris Benn scored twice to complete the rout.
White Abbey RD also enjoyed a big away win, beating Saville United 5-2.
Hoghtown Jets won 5-2 at home to bottom-placed Salthorn, with Dean Comins and Adam Smith both scoring twice, while Saville Youth won 5-4 at Hartshead.
Adeeb Jawad scored twice as Girlington won 5-3 at Idle in another high-scoring clash.
Dewsbury West Side battered West End Park 8-0 at home in the First Division of the Spen Valley and District League.
West Side are now a point clear at the top of the table above second-placed Norfolk, who won 4-2 at Inter Batley while Howden Clough beat bottom-placed Savile Town 8-1.
