ALAN Sheehan’s attempt to leave City on loan is still being held up by a groin problem.
Carlisle are among the clubs keeping tabs on the defender, who would prefer to stay in League One.
But Sheehan is currently sidelined while he waits for the slight injury to ease.
Phil Parkinson said: “Alan’s had an injection in his groin. He had a bit of a problem after last week and he’s had a few days off to get that right. “He wants to be 100 per cent before he goes anywhere.”
Parkinson confirmed that City are not in the market for anyone after the emergency loan window opened yesterday.
