GUISELEY romped to a 4-0 victory in their penultimate pre-season friendly as new signing Tom Cradock grabbed his first goal for the club at newly-promoted National North side Curzon Ashton.

Craddock opened the scoring when he netted from close range after good play by Nicky Boshell and Adam Boyes. Jake Lawlor was next on the scoresheet as he headed home a Wayne Brooksby corner and Craddock turned provider as he set up Boshell before the break.

The only goal of the second half was an own goal as Curzon's Danny Shaw turned a Ryan Toulson cross past his own keeper.

FARSLEY CETIC hosted tenants ALBION SPORTS in a keen derby friendly that had five bookings, the home side edging the game 1-0.

Lewis Nightingale's free-kick hit the frame of Albion's goal, while Marcus Edwards, one of two former Celts in the Sports line-up, along with Lewis Morgan, and Aran Basi both had first-half strikes disallowed. The first was for a foul on the Farsley keeper and the second for offside.

Sam Hillhouse was the Celts' match-winner as he netted the game's only goal midway through the second half.

Three goals inside the final ten minutes saw BRIGHOUSE TOWN to a 4-1 home victory over Ashton United.

Town were good value for their win over their Evo-Stik Premier Division visitors but the late flurry did slant the scoreline. Danny Facey had opened the scoring in the first half before Ashton levelled through a trialist in 53rd minute.

James Pollard rounded a defender and slotted in nine minutes from time before Steve Hollingworth bagged himself a brace inside four minutes.

Luke Harrop and Adam Turner were on target for ECCLESHILL UNITED as the Eagles won 2-0 at Harworth Colliery Institute. Elsewhere there were defeats for LIVERSEDGE, 2-1 at home to Worsborouh Bridge Athletic, and THACKLEY, who lost 2-0 at Lancashire outfit Nelson on Yorkshire Day.

Thackley play their final friendly tomorrow night when they are at home to Barnoldswick Town.
