JUSSI Jaaskelainen is being considered for Bradford City's goalkeeping vacancy.
The veteran former Bolton and West Ham stopper is on Phil Parkinson's radar and it is believed he has been in training with the club.
But reports that a deal is already in place with the 40-year-old Finn are thought to be wide of the mark.
Jaaskelainen, who has 56 international caps, holds the record for the longest-serving foreign player in the Premier League after playing for Bolton from 1997 to 2012.
He was released in the summer after three seasons with West Ham and is understood to be looking for a club nearer his northern base.
Parkinson is looking for a second goalkeeper to challenge Ben Williams and Jaaskelainen is not the only potential candidate being looked at.
