Tim Bresnan reached his hundred off 149 balls
TIM Bresnan completed his second hundred of the season as he and Jonny Bairstow strengthen Yorkshire’s position in their LV= County Championship match against Durham.
Bresnan moved from 66 overnight to 129 not out at lunch during a wicketless second morning at Emirates Durham. Yorkshire reached 447-6 from 129 overs, with Bairstow, who was 102 last night, on 152.
The pair shared a Yorkshire record seventh-wicket stand in matches against Durham, posting 256 inside 62 overs.
Bresnan reached his hundred off 149 balls and Bairstow his 150 off 199.
